We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive, to join our team in Birmingham, who will manage existing commercial partnerships, along with looking for continued growth opportunities.

What you'll do...

  • Identify, negotiate and implement new commercial partnerships
  • Build stakeholder relationships internally and externally
  • Organise, plan and present proposals to internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive revenue, profit growth and customer acquisition across all channels
  • Strategically plan your sales pipeline
  • Cold call and approach new business opportunities
  • Manage the negotiations
  • Work with senior internal stakeholders across the key functions of Commercial, IT, Marketing, Service Delivery and Finance, to deliver actions required.
  • Undertake comprehensive financial modelling of planned campaigns and promotions, to validate the commercial viability and overall potential business impact.
  • Assist evaluating the operational impact of any new commercial partnership and build service delivery plans to ensure their smooth implementation.
  • Take ownership of commercial partnerships, including developing contact strategy. Create and deliver sales plans for these with accountability for the delivery of the budget.
  • Excellent presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong networking ability and experience navigating complex sales situations
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Create and maintain detailed monthly sales reports and maintain an accurate ongoing forecast for your accounts
  • Maintain a detailed and accurate awareness of competitor activity and pricing

What you’ll have…

  • Strong proven experience of commercial deal development and sales execution experience is essential
  • Motivated by working towards and achieving KPI’s and targets
  • Split experience of developing both new and account managing existing B2B commercial partnerships
  • A good understanding of creating and managing a sales pipeline, salesforce experience  or equivalent CRM system is essential
  • Commercially and financially astute with the ability to work at pace
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise senior stakeholders and to build long lasting relationships
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Excel and PowerPoint with experience of creating professional presentations
  • Excellent presentation delivery skills
  • Tenacious, self-motivated and determined
  • Full UK driving license with your own car and happy to travel for business meetings
