Engineering Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Administrator, based at Fareham, who will provide a wide range of administration activities to support the efficient and effective day to day running and delivery of the Engineering department across the region.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience of providing administration support to a large department, organising and prioritising daily workload to achieve standards and meet deadlines. You will be proficient with MS Office packages, have the ability stay calm under pressure and able to communicate effectively to all levels of staff, with a pro-active “can do” approach, whilst displaying a high level of dynamic decision making ability.

What you'll do...

• Upkeep and maintain the vehicle documentation and the filing system
• Scan and file engineering documentation
• Maintain the MID OCRS and DVSA Operator self-service systems
• Set up new vehicles on the Vehicle Maintenance system (VMS)
• Ensure timely upkeep of the VMS system
• Assist the engineering planning and workshop loading function
• Provide weekly and monthly reports that are timely and compliant
• Produce invoices and credit notes, working to a strict deadline
• Audit document and preparation
• Follow the Tacho calibration process
• Follow the RFL process including system and direct debit updates
