Solent Coaches have earnt a reputation for providing passengers with the very best service, and we rely on our drivers to help us continue to deliver this. 

As a part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit 5 experienced PCV Coach Drivers to join our existing team on a full time basis, fulfilling private hire contracts within the region and across the country from our depot based at Bournemouth Airport. 

The role will involve fulfilling home to school contracts, works contracts, private hire, day excursions and tours.

The ideal candidate will have tour driving experience and be expected to carry themselves in a way that suitably represents the brand and it's values, by providing the levels of service expected by our clients. 

In order to be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• A full, UK PCV (Category D) Licence

• Demonstrable experience as a Coach Driver

• A valid Digital Tachograph card

• A Driver Certificate of professional Competence (CPC)

• No previous driving convictions

• No unspent criminal convictions 

In return we are offering a rewarding package, including an weekday hourly rate of £10.25 per hour and £10.75 on weekends, along with an Unsocial Rail Bonus of £1.50 per hour for rail replacement work done between midnight to 04:00 hrs on weekdays and all day on weekends.

National Express has a very high focus on health and safety and as a result operates a strict Drugs and Alcohol Policy which is applicable to all employees.

Drug and Alcohol testing is completed as part of the assessment process as well random checks during employment according to the policy.
