We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager, who will identify, negotiate and implement new commercial partnerships whilst looking for continued growth opportunities within our existing partnerships. You will take ownership of these partnerships, including developing contact strategy whilst creating and delivering sales plans for these with accountability for the delivery of the budget.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate strong comprehension of the B2B service business, with a proven track record of developing senior partnerships, nurturing new opportunities and pitching at high levels. You will maintain a pipeline of opportunities from leads, both provided and self-generated and assured in making recommendations and are decisive when pursuing new courses of action. Your expert negotiation and presentation skills will demonstrate an understanding, passion, energy and focus on developing and growing sales. You will have a full UK driving licence with your own car and happy to travel for business meetings.


What you'll do...

  • Organise, plan and present proposals to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue, profit growth and customer acquisition across all channels.
  • Strategically plan your sales pipeline.
  • Cold call and approach new business opportunities, whist managing negotiations.
  • Create detailed business cases to successfully influence senior internal stakeholders across the key functions of Commercial, IT, Marketing, Service Delivery and Finance, to deliver actions required and ensure collaborative working.
  • Undertake comprehensive financial modelling of planned campaigns and promotions, to validate the commercial viability and overall potential business impact.
  • Evaluate the operational impact of any new commercial partnership and build service delivery plans to ensure their smooth implementation.
  • Create and maintain detailed monthly sales reports and maintain an accurate ongoing forecast for your accounts.
  • Maintain a detailed and accurate awareness of competitor activity and pricing.
  • Build high level stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
