PSV/Bus Engineering Team Leader

We have new opportunities within our Engineering team, for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who have a real desire to drive their team’s performance and support their development. 

As a Team Leader, you will work alongside the Technicians to carry out maintenance activities and deliver ‘on the job’ coaching, mentoring and training. You will play a key part in leading effective communication within your team, reviewing performance and targeting improvements. 

You will work collaboratively to ensure that the daily workshop plan is executed and that the required number of safe, compliant vehicles are available to our customers - helping keep our local communities connected.

By joining National Express, you will be at the forefront of new vehicle technology, working across a variety of vehicle types, such as electric and hydrogen vehicles, with cutting edge diagnostics technology. We are also in the process of introducing a world-class digital workshop system that will provide the team with more data and insight about our vehicles, maintenance and inventory usage. 

What you will need:

• IMI Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineering & Maintenance or Equivalent (including Heavy Vehicles)
• Basic IT Skills
• Experience of working in a vehicle maintenance environment
• Demonstrable leadership or mentoring experience
