We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Officer to join our expanding Engineering team in Walsall! As a Supply Chain Officer you will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain processes for parts in and out of the stores and workshop ensuring all parts are accounted for and all warranty terms are fulfilled. 

What you'll need...

  • Ensure store parameters match workshop demands for planned and unplanned engineering intervention on all relevant vehicle types
  • Where practicable, ensure stores are arranged according to parts demand, kitted parts or partnered parts and key items are located in close proximity for ease of picking
  • Manage all aspects of warranty and ensure maximum recoveries are achieved
  • Analyse parts usage data, and in collaboration with the Technicians, work towards predictive parts usage based on historical usage to reduce downtime
  • Undertake periodic stock checks
  • Manage the direct order parts process to ensure all parts are fully utilised

What you’ll need…

  • CIPS Level II as a minimum is essential
  • 3 years experience in a supply chain environment are desirable
  • Experience in supply chain and purchasing processes is essential
  • Computer literate - specifically inventory systems are essential
  • A good level of numeracy and communication skills is essential
  • Able to collate clear and definitive reports for managers at all levels
