We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Recruiter, to join our team, and support the resourcing function in working on volume vacancies. The successful candidate will be supporting the team in managing volume hires, contacting candidates to discuss their applications and arranging interviews whilst keeping the ATS and relevant scheduling documents updated.

As the successful candidate, previous recruitment  experience is not necessarily required, however experience at working within a HR function would be advantageous.  You will possess the ability to thrive in a role that demands a positive attitude and a real determination to succeed. What you'll do...

  • Manage own workload, re-prioritising when demand is high, based on understanding of high impact roles and requirements for volume recruitment
  • Conduct assessments, and screening interviews and other candidate selection related activities using the agreed recruitment process within agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Complete all Applicant Tracking System records and reports accurately and on time e.g. candidate and vacancy records, cost, monthly reports, media reports and vacancy reports
  • Manage candidates on-boarding including offer negotiation and relevant checks, ensuring continuous engagement is maintained

What we're looking for...

  • You will be a confident communicator with a passion to deliver a first class service to internal and external customers.
  • The ability to communicate confidently at all levels, with strong influencing skills and a down-to-earth style which engages others.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with strong analytical and research skills
  • Able to work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills including Excel, Power Point, databases, and internet research.
  • Able to operate with confidential and sensitive information
