We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager of our National Express Transport Solutions Group, based across the South East. You will be responsible for securing new large scale contracts across the NETS Group with focus on driving revenue and new business growth through assigned operating depots and regions. You will own the entire sales cycle from initial lead generation through to presenting a solution and closing multi-year contracts.

 

As the successful candidate, you will be have a successful track record of achieving sales targets and demonstrate the ability to seek new opportunities and close down sales. You will possess strong commercial acumen along with excellent relationship and networking skills, presenting to C-level decision makers. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle is essential.


What you'll do...

 

  • Deliver sales against structured revenue targets and agreed KPIs
  • Produce year on year growth through new contract acquisitions
  • Create, negotiate and close high level commercial agreements
  • Develop sales strategies to grow revenue from specific market sector and regions
  • Build sales pipeline through effective market mapping and lead generation
  • Proactively seek new opportunities within the marketplace
  • Identify new revenue streams and products outside of core business
  • Prepare proposals and bespoke client presentations
  • Complete PQQ and tender submissions
  • Provide detailed revenue reports and sales forecasts in line with business requirements and at required frequencies
  • Work closely with Head of BD and Marketing on campaigns to drive revenue opportunities
  • Attend exhibitions, meetings and networking events to showcase what we can offer as a business
